From the back cover: Too hot to handle. Camilla hadn't seen Virginia in years, but she certainly couldn't ignore her childhood friend's urgent plea to come to Hawaii. Her cool reception from Virginia's husband was both unsettling and understandable; Virginia and their young daughter had vanished. Good manners dictated Alex Conti invite Camilla to stay in the guest room, but he made it clear she was neither welcome nor wantd. Though distant and despereately worried about his daughter, Alex hardly seemed the monster Virginia had described. Camilla wanted to help. But everything she did seemed to complicate matters. As did her growing attraction to Alex, whose eyes held an enigmatic mix of pain and raw desire that sent her senses reeling.

MY THOUGHTS: The book was readable. I felt the book had more mystery than romance which is understandable since the hero's wife and beloved daughter were missing. Although I guess I would be a hypocrite if there was major love scenes between the hero and heroine and the hero is still married. ~_~ The only thing I can say is the hero's wife had given her approval, hahaha. But no, amazingly, they finally do the deed after Alex is divorced. I did enjoy the book, it was a good read and kept me in a suspense as to what Virginia's motives were, who the other villain was, and when the heck will Camilla and Alex get together! But I thought it was lacking in the romantic scenes, although the ending tried to make up for that.
